This Privacy Policy describes how AkibaCardMap ("the Service") handles your personal information. The Company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws and regulations. Please review this policy before using the Service.

This Service is a web service and LINE Mini App operated by GUZEN Inc. (株式会社偶然, hereinafter 'the Company'), providing information about trading card shops in the Akihabara area.

2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following information. The Service does not obtain your LINE friend information, chat content, or credit card information.
Automatically collected information
- Access logs (IP address, browser type, referral URL, date and time of access)
- Device information (OS, screen size, language settings)
- Usage activity within the Service (pages viewed, clicks, search queries, etc.)
- Identifiers and settings stored in cookies and the browser's local storage (Chapter 3)
Location data
Your device's location is used only when you use the current-location feature, and only with your permission in the browser. Location data is used to show your current location. When you create a route, your current location is sent to the Company's servers as the starting point; it is used only to calculate the route and to create a link that opens it in Google Maps, and is not stored. If you open that link, the starting point is sent to Google. For communications with external parties when a map is displayed, see Chapter 8.

- Display name and profile picture received from LINE (used only to display them on screen and not stored in the Company's database)
- Favorite shop registrations
- Information entered in the inquiry form (name, email address, message, etc.; for shop representatives, this includes the shop name, phone number, and type of inquiry). To prevent unauthorized use, we also record your IP address and language
- User preferences such as language and theme settings
Shop owner and administrator account information
- Email address, password (stored in hashed form), and assigned shops
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Service uses the following types of cookies and similar technologies (including the browser's local storage).
- Essential cookies: Used to maintain authentication state, language settings, theme settings, and cookie consent preferences. These are necessary for the basic functionality of the Service and cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4 is used to understand Service usage and improve our Service. These are sent based on your consent.
- Advertising cookies: Third-party advertising services may use cookies to display relevant advertisements. These are enabled based on your consent.

- Analyzing usage patterns and statistical processing for Service improvement
- Delivering advertisements and measuring their effectiveness
- Detecting and preventing unauthorized use, unauthorized access, and excessive requests
- Notifying you of important matters, such as changes to the Terms or this Policy
- Compliance with legal requirements
If we use information for any purpose other than the above, we will notify you in advance within the Service and, where required by law, obtain your consent.
7. Third-Party Disclosure

9. Security Control Measures and Understanding of the External Environment
To prevent leakage, loss, or damage of retained personal data and to otherwise ensure its secure management, the Company has implemented the following measures.
- Organizational measures: clarifying responsibility for the handling of personal data and confirming the status of handling
- Personnel measures: limiting the personnel who handle personal data and informing them of points to note
- Physical measures: servers are managed in the data center of a provider in Japan, and entry and exit controls follow that provider's standards. We manage handling equipment and media and endeavor to prevent theft
- Technical measures: minimizing access privileges, storing passwords in hashed form, encrypting communications (TLS), and restricting excessive requests
Understanding of the External Environment
As the Service uses U.S.-based providers, the Company may handle personal data in the United States (access analysis and advertising: Google / relaying communications and storage and delivery of images: Cloudflare). Having understood the systems for the protection of personal information in the United States, the Company implements necessary and appropriate measures for the secure management of personal data. The servers (including the database) are located in Japan.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
- Collected information is retained only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes of use.
- If you request to disconnect your LINE account (withdraw), the Company will handle the associated information in accordance with applicable laws.
- To request deletion of user data such as favorites, please contact us through the inquiry form.
- Information in cookies and local storage can be deleted at any time through your browser settings.
11. Requests for Disclosure of Retained Personal Data
With respect to your own retained personal data held by the Company, you may request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction/addition/deletion of content, suspension of use/erasure, suspension of provision to third parties, and disclosure of records of provision to third parties.
- How to request: please contact us via the inquiry form within this Service. After confirming your identity, we will respond within a reasonable period in accordance with applicable laws. For requests made by an agent, we may ask for documents confirming the authority to act on your behalf.
- Fees: for the time being, requests for notification of the purpose of use and for disclosure are free of charge.
- Cases where we may decline: we may decline a request in whole or in part where it may harm the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of you or a third party, where it may significantly impede the proper conduct of the Company's business, or where it would violate other laws. In that case, we will endeavor to inform you of the reason.
12. Use by Persons Under 15
Persons under 15 who find it difficult to understand the terms and policies of this Service are encouraged to review them together with a parent or guardian (a person with parental authority, etc.) before using the Service.
13. Response to Data Breaches
If a leakage or similar incident involving personal data occurs, or may have occurred, the Company will, in accordance with applicable laws, report it to the Personal Information Protection Commission and notify the affected individuals, and will endeavor to investigate the cause and prevent recurrence.

The Company may update this policy in response to changes in laws or Service content. The updated content and the date it takes effect will be posted on this page, and significant changes will be announced within the Service with reasonable advance notice.
