Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AkibaCardMap ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Overview
The Service is operated by GUZEN Inc. (hereinafter "the Company") and provides information about trading card shops in the Akihabara area, including locations, business hours, and available card games, displayed on an interactive map. Features include shop search, filtering, route planning, favorites, and shop information reporting.
2. Terms of Use
- The Service is available to everyone free of charge. - Some features (such as favorites and shop information reporting) require login with a LINE account. - Users shall use the Service at their own responsibility.
3. Accounts and Authentication
- The Service provides authentication via LINE Login (LIFF SDK). - Basic features (map viewing, shop search, filtering, etc.) are available without login as a guest. - Management of LINE account information is subject to LINE Corporation's terms of service. - Users are responsible for all activity under their account.
4. User Submissions
- Users may submit content such as shop information reports and reviews. - Submitted content may be published and used for the benefit of other users and Service improvement. - Users shall endeavor to provide accurate information in their submissions. - The operator reserves the right to remove submissions that violate these Terms or contain inappropriate content without prior notice. - Copyright of submitted content belongs to the user, but the user grants the Service a license to use the content as necessary for Service operation.
5. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are prohibited when using the Service: - Unauthorized access or attacks on the system - Sending excessive requests using automated tools - Posting false or misleading information - Defamation, harassment, or abuse of other users or shops - Posting obscene, violent, or discriminatory content - Spam or posting unrelated advertisements for commercial purposes - Unauthorized reproduction or redistribution of Service content - Any activity that interferes with the operation of the Service - Any other activity that violates laws or public order
6. Intellectual Property
- Intellectual property rights related to the Service's design, logo, software, and content belong to the operator or their rightful owners. - Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap and is subject to the Open Database License (ODbL). - Some shop information is obtained through Google Places API and is subject to Google's terms of service.
7. Disclaimer
- Shop information provided by the Service (business hours, addresses, products, ratings, etc.) is based on data sources and user reports, and accuracy, completeness, or currency is not guaranteed. - Please verify the latest information directly with each shop. - The operator is not responsible for the content or services of external sites linked from the Service (shop websites, social media, Google Maps, etc.). - To the extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service. - The operator is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters or system failures. ・Where these Terms constitute a consumer contract, except in cases of the Company's intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the user through use of this Service. Even where the Company bears liability for damages, such liability shall be limited to ordinary damages actually arising from causes attributable to the Company, and shall not include damages arising from special circumstances (including lost profits).
8. Service Changes and Termination
・The Company may change or add to the contents of this Service within a reasonable scope, giving due consideration to the interests of users. ・When making changes that have a significant impact on users, or when terminating all or part of this Service, the Company will, except in unavoidable cases, notify users in advance on this Service as far as possible. ・To the extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users due to changes, suspension, or termination of this Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
・Pursuant to Article 548-4 of the Civil Code, the Company may change these Terms without the individual consent of users in either of the following cases: (1) when the change conforms to the general interests of users; or (2) when the change does not contravene the purpose of these Terms and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the change, the appropriateness of the content after the change, and other circumstances. ・When changing these Terms, the Company will, by the time the change takes effect, give notice of the content of the revised Terms and the date on which they take effect, by posting on this Service or by other appropriate means. For changes that have a significant impact on users, the Company will endeavor to provide a reasonable prior notice period. ・If a user uses this Service after the effective date, the user shall be deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
10. Withdrawal and Deletion/Reporting of Posts
・Users may request the cancellation of their LINE account linkage (withdrawal) via the inquiry form within this Service. The handling of personal information upon withdrawal is governed by the Company's Privacy Policy. ・If a user finds a post that infringes the rights of others or violates these Terms, the user may report it to the Company via the inquiry form within this Service. ・The Company will review the content of such reports and may, where it deems necessary, delete the relevant post or take other necessary measures.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. - Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
