These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AkibaCardMap ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Minors should use the Service only with the consent of a parent or guardian (a person with parental authority, etc.).
1. Service Overview
The Service is operated by GUZEN Inc. (hereinafter "the Company") and provides information about trading card shops in the Akihabara area, including locations, business hours, and available card games, displayed on an interactive map. It is a web service and LINE Mini App. Features include shop search, filtering, route planning, and favorites.
2. Definitions
- "User": any person who uses the Service
- "Shop Owner": a person to whom the Company has granted authority to manage shop information
- "Listed Information": information posted on the Service, such as shop names, addresses, business hours, available card games, photos, and announcements
3. Terms of Use
- The Service is available to everyone free of charge. Communication costs are borne by the user.
- Some features (such as favorites) require login with a LINE account.
- Users shall use the Service at their own responsibility.
4. Accounts and Authentication
- The Service provides authentication via LINE Login (LIFF SDK).
- Basic features (map viewing, shop search, filtering, etc.) are available without login as a guest.
- Management of LINE account information is subject to LY Corporation's terms of service.
- Shop Owner accounts are issued by the Company. Authentication credentials such as email address and password must be kept strictly confidential at your own responsibility and must not be lent, transferred, or shared with any third party.
- Users are responsible for all activity under their account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use, please contact us immediately through the inquiry form.
5. Responsibilities of Shop Owners
- Shop Owners are responsible for keeping the Listed Information of their shop accurate and up to date.
- Shop Owners must not register images or text that infringe the copyright, portrait rights, trademark rights, or other rights of any third party.
- The Company may correct or delete, without prior notice, Listed Information that is false or inappropriate or that may infringe rights.
6. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are prohibited when using the Service:
Fraud and Interference
- Unauthorized access or attacks on the system, and probing for vulnerabilities
- Sending excessive requests using automated tools, and scraping or crawling
- Impersonating other users or Shop Owners
- Any activity that interferes with the operation of the Service
Infringement of Rights
- Unauthorized reproduction, republication, redistribution, or commercial use of Service content
- Any activity that infringes the rights of third parties
Inappropriate Conduct
- Defamation, harassment, or abuse of other users or shops
- Spam for commercial purposes
- Providing false information
- Any other activity that violates laws or public order
If you violate any of the prohibited activities, the Company may, without prior notice, restrict your use of the Service, suspend your account, or take other necessary measures.
7. Intellectual Property and Attribution
- Intellectual property rights related to the Service's design, logo, software, and content belong to the operator or their rightful owners.
- Map data is provided by © OpenStreetMap contributors and is subject to the Open Database License (ODbL). Map tiles are delivered by © CARTO.
- Some shop information is obtained through Google Places API and is subject to Google's terms of service.
- The Service is unofficial and is not affiliated with or connected to the owners of the rights in the listed shops or card games. Product names, game names, logos, and the like are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners.
8. Requests to Correct or Delete Listed Information
- Persons connected with a shop, rights holders, and anyone else who wishes to have Listed Information corrected or deleted should contact us through the inquiry form within the Service.
- The Company will review your message and, where it deems necessary, promptly correct or delete the Listed Information or take other necessary measures.
9. Translation
- The Service displays part of the shop information and announcements translated using AI (artificial intelligence).
- AI translations may contain errors or unnatural expressions. Please verify important information directly with each shop.
10. Disclaimer
- Shop information provided by the Service (business hours, addresses, products, ratings, etc.) is based on data sources and information received through inquiries, and accuracy, completeness, or currency is not guaranteed.
- Please verify the latest information directly with each shop.
- The Company does not control, and does not guarantee, the content or services of external sites linked from the Service (shop websites, social media, Google Maps, etc.).
- The Company is liable, in accordance with applicable laws, for damages incurred by users due to causes attributable to the Company.
- The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by natural disasters, power outages, communication line failures, or other causes not attributable to the Company.
11. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination
- The Company may change or add to the contents of this Service within a reasonable scope, giving due consideration to the interests of users.
- When making changes that have a significant impact on users, or when terminating all or part of this Service, the Company will, except in unavoidable cases, notify users in advance on this Service as far as possible.
- In the event of system maintenance or inspection, failures, natural disasters, or other unavoidable circumstances, the Company may suspend all or part of this Service without prior notice.
- The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users due to changes, suspension, or termination of this Service, except where such damages are attributable to the Company.
12. Changes to These Terms
- Pursuant to Article 548-4 of the Civil Code, the Company may change these Terms without the individual consent of users in either of the following cases:
- (1) when the change conforms to the general interests of users; or
- (2) when the change does not contravene the purpose of these Terms and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the change, the appropriateness of the content after the change, and other circumstances.
- When changing these Terms, the Company will, by the time the change takes effect, give notice of the fact that the Terms will be changed, the content of the revised Terms, and the date on which they take effect, by posting on this Service or by other appropriate means. For changes that have a significant impact on users, the Company will endeavor to provide a reasonable prior notice period.
13. Withdrawal
- Users may request the cancellation of their LINE account linkage (withdrawal) via the inquiry form within this Service. The Company will review the request and respond in accordance with applicable laws. The handling of personal information upon withdrawal is governed by the Company's Privacy Policy.
14. Exclusion of Antisocial Forces
- Users represent and warrant that they are not organized crime groups, members or associates of organized crime groups, or other antisocial forces, and that they have no relationship with antisocial forces.
- If it is found that a user has breached the above representation and warranty, the Company may suspend that user's use of the Service without prior notice.
15. Prohibition of Assignment; Severability
- Users shall not assign to any third party, or offer as security, their status or rights and obligations under these Terms.
- Even if any part of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts shall remain in effect.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
- Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
