Flat-Kobo Akihabara Store

// ABOUT THIS SHOP

This Akihabara shop on the 6th floor of the Dai-26 Higashi Building is the brick-and-mortar arm of "flat-Kobo," the YouTube channel known for its Duel Masters strategy and match videos, run by flat-Kobo Co., Ltd. Because the people who make those videos handle cards in the same space, in-store talk about the current meta and play lines lands in a way few other Duel Masters shops can match. The lineup is deliberately narrowed to two titles — Duel Masters and Shadowverse Evolve — and goes deep on both, from playable singles to sealed used packs and original packs (oripa). The floor has 44 duel-space seats (usable with a receipt showing a purchase of 500 yen or more), and the shop runs its own competitive events such as the "POWERCS" championship on a regular basis. It suits players who want to test their decks and follow tournament results. The shop also runs the "flatkobo.shop" online store, so everything from pre-orders of new sets to selling cards can be done in-store or online. Since 2025 it has handled its own distinct sourcing as well, including an Akihabara-store-exclusive early release of the newer TCG "Legend of Stars."
