Akihabara Radio Kaikan is a hobby-and-pop-culture complex right outside the Electric Town Exit of JR Akihabara Station. And despite sitting right by the station, each floor is calm enough that you can actually take your time browsing.

In a multi-tenant building like this, it helps to decide upfront whether you'll start at the top and work down, or start at the bottom and work up — that alone cuts out a lot of backtracking. Each floor has its own genre and feel, so check out whatever catches your eye while confirming that the card game you're after is actually stocked there. Aisles can feel tight during busy hours, so if you'd rather browse at your own pace, aim for a quieter time of day. If you already know which floor you want, checking the map first will keep you from getting turned around.

On the 1st floor of Radio Kaikan, right by the station, marked by a torii gate at the entrance. Centered on Pokémon TCG and Yu-Gi-Oh! (OCG), with a range that extends to old-back (vintage-back) cards and overseas editions.
On the 6th floor of Radio Kaikan, a 2-minute walk from the station and an official Pokémon TCG gym. The flagship store of a long-running chain, stocking TCG alongside model kits and figures.
