Description

This is a card specialty corner run by secondhand chain "Furuichi" (Kobon Ichiba), on the 7th floor of Akihabara Radio Kaikan, one of Akihabara's landmark complex buildings. Radio Kaikan was rebuilt and reopened in 2014, and Furuichi also runs "Toreca Park" branches in other parts of the country, including Tama and Nagoya. Radio Kaikan itself houses several floors of specialty shops selling figures, dolls, and trading cards, and this shop occupies one part of that mix. Inside there's a duel space, used not just for casual play but for tournaments as well. The focus is on Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG and Pokemon cards, and the shop handles both buybacks and sales. Because the Radio Kaikan building itself is such a recognizable Akihabara landmark, it also works well as a simple meeting point for anyone unfamiliar with the area. It's about a 1-minute walk from Akihabara Station's Denki-gai exit (south side), which makes it easy to combine with the other hobby specialty shops on different floors of the same building within a short visit.
