Akihabara Trading Card Hakai Kosen

// ABOUT THIS SHOP

Hakai Kosen, on the 2nd floor of a building in Sotokanda 3-chome about a 5-minute walk from Akihabara Station, deals exclusively in Pokémon TCG — no other card games on the shelves. Since it doesn't carry anything else, both the stock and the dueling space are built entirely around Pokémon players, so you're not digging through unrelated genres to find what you want. It accepts both cash and credit cards, so you're not limited by how much cash you're carrying. The standout feature is a spacious 32-seat dueling area where, as the shop's official social account notes, you can drink while you play. It's set up for people who want to camp out with friends testing deck builds or looking for opponents — a different vibe from the mixed-game shops nearby, built for players who take their Pokémon matches seriously. The shop also buys cards over the counter, and it operates under a proper secondhand-dealer license, so first-time sellers can bring cards in with some peace of mind. Purchase and stock questions are also handled through the shop's official LINE account, so you can check whether they have what you're after before heading over. It suits anyone who wants to focus on one title rather than shop-hop between multiple games, and since it's set back one street from the main road near the station, it's worth checking the exact route before your first visit.
