VALUABLE CARD TOKYO Akihabara — the shop that promises cards that are "truly valuable" — spreads across floors 2 to 4 of the Akibastar II (Nippo) building. Its core is Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG/TCG and old-back (early-era) Pokémon cards, paired with authenticated cards graded by PSA, ARS, BGS and others. Rather than chasing the latest booster packs, this is a place for taking your time over a retro card or a graded single. Cards are displayed by category so you can check condition as you browse, which draws everyone from players building current Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon decks to overseas collectors hunting old-back and high-end graded pieces. Staff can assist in English. It's about a four-minute walk from Akihabara Station along Chuo-dori, and part of the appeal is working your way up several floors, each shelf a different price bracket. The shop also buys actively, making it a solid option for clearing out a collection, selling in bulk, or moving graded cards.
