About a 1-minute walk from Akihabara Station's Denki-gai exit, this shop sits in the basement of the Takarada Chuo-dori Building. It's run by "Hanjo," a well-known professional Splatoon player and YouTuber, who opened it as a Pokemon-only card shop in August 2022 near Junk Street before moving to its current spot right by the station, later adding One Piece Card Game to the lineup. It's an unusual origin story for an Akihabara card shop -- one literally named after its owner. Because the owner himself is a known player, the shop leans into a player's-eye view for both its product lineup and the information it puts out, and it also accepts PSA-graded cards for buyback. Its proximity to the station stands out even among Akihabara's many card shops -- being right outside the Denki-gai exit makes it an easy stop between train transfers or while waiting to meet someone. There's also a duel space inside, so you can sit down and play with cards you just bought. Stock is mirrored on the official online store alongside the physical shop, so people who can't visit in person can browse the same inventory. It's worth a visit whether you're after Pokemon or One Piece singles, or simply curious to see Hanjo's shop as a fan.
