TCG Specialty Store Treca Soul Akihabara Store

// ABOUT THIS SHOP

TCG Specialty Store Treca Soul Akihabara Store, in Sotokanda 4-chome, is only 223m from Akihabara Station — the closest of the five shops covered in this piece. Its official X account (@TCG_SOUL_AKB) even describes itself as "5 minutes on foot from Akihabara Station," putting the emphasis on an easy route from the station rather than a hidden back-alley location. It carries six titles: Pokémon Trading Card Game, Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG, One Piece Card Game, Weiß Schwarz, Lycee Overture, and Union Arena. Buying is a strong focus here too — its X account regularly posts appraisal information for well-preserved rare cards and graded items, including old-back Pokémon cards from discontinued print runs. There's no duel space; the shop is built around buying and selling rather than on-site play. Hours run 1pm-8pm, closed Tuesdays. Its social posts break down stock by title day by day, so visitors chasing a specific game can time their trip around it. Handling six titles while still foregrounding rare-card appraisal and buyback sets it apart from shops that focus mainly on moving new-set packs in volume. Its Google rating is 3.4 from 16 reviews — more mixed than the other four shops here — but its proximity to the station and its focus on rare-card buying make it worth a look for collectors interested in that niche.
