Pokemon Card Specialty Store Haohao

// ABOUT THIS SHOP

Pokemon Card Specialty Store Haohao occupies the basement floor of the Mori Building, about a five-minute walk from Akihabara Station into the Sotokanda area. The basement location can be easy to miss from street level, but head down the stairs and you'll find a spacious sales floor with a 40-seat duel space where customers can play with cards they've just purchased. One of Haohao's defining traits is how often it updates its buyback price lists on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, breaking prices down by category — SSR, AR, sealed boxes, and more — so shoppers can check going rates before they even walk in. That openness about buyback pricing makes it reassuring for anyone selling cards in Akihabara for the first time. The shop also stocks consumables like official Pokémon TCG sleeves, covering practical needs for players building decks to play. With 40 seats, its duel space is relatively large among Akihabara's Pokémon card specialty shops, and it draws plenty of regulars who come specifically to play as well as to buy or sell. Because it deals exclusively in Pokémon cards rather than multiple trading card games, both the staff's appraisal work and customer service are entirely Pokémon-focused. With buyback prices posted in advance online, it also suits shoppers who'd rather skip comparing rates across several stores in person.
