Hareruya 2

// ABOUT THIS SHOP

Hareruya2 Akihabara Tower Store takes over an entire building — basement through 6th floor of the Ishimaru No.3 Building at Sotokanda 1-2-13 — as a single Pokémon card specialty shop, a 3-minute walk from the JR Akihabara Station Electric Town exit. Despite the similar name, it's a separate brand from Hareruya Akihabara, which specializes in Magic: The Gathering; this one deals exclusively in Pokémon. It has a play space that seats 152 people at once, and sells and buys everything from Standard and Extra regulation cards to old-back cards from the earliest print runs. Beyond singles and sealed packs, basically anything Pokémon-related is fair game for buyback. Daily beginner sessions with friendly rule explanations mean newcomers can join empty-handed. Large-scale events run on weekends too, so it suits both players hunting for an opponent and those who want to test their skills in tournament play. Orders placed online can also be picked up in-store. Using an entire building from basement to 6th floor sets this shop apart in scale even among Akihabara's many Pokémon specialists, letting shoppers move between floors for buying, selling, and playing. For anyone looking to sell a large batch of cards at once, or spend real time hunting for singles, being able to handle it all just by working through the floors is a big part of the appeal.
