Description

MERO is a Pokémon card specialty chain with locations in Shibuya as well as Kofu and Fujiyoshida in Yamanashi Prefecture. Its Akihabara branch operates inside Toreka Mall (5F), a large card-shop mall on the fifth floor of the LAOX Akihabara Main Store building. The mall grand-opened on March 14, 2026 with roughly 111 tsubo of floor space, bringing together several card shops — including Pokedou, Quest Toreca, and Bakusoku Kaitori 1minutes — alongside the HAO Akihabara claw-machine corner. The existing basement mall (about 80 tsubo) is a dense hub built around rare-card trading and in-store play, while the fifth floor leans into its open 111-tsubo layout with a battle space and claw-machine corner for a more entertainment-driven feel — giving the building two distinct atmospheres above and below ground. Altogether the building totals around 191 tsubo, just a one-minute walk from the JR Akihabara Station Electric Town exit. MERO Akihabara focuses on single-card sales and buybacks with no duel space on site. Backed by the know-how the chain has built up through its Shibuya and Yamanashi branches, the shop offers steady, reliable service that has earned it a loyal following among visitors.
