Toreca Room

// ABOUT THIS SHOP

On the 8th floor of the Senju Building in Sotokanda 4-chome is a buyback-only shop dealing in Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. It has no sales floor and no duel space; committing entirely to the act of selling cards is what sets it apart from the sales-focused stores in the same building and nearby. Focusing solely on buying also keeps the flow from appraisal to payment quick, which is easy for sellers to grasp. Its hallmark is how frequently it refreshes its buy lists. The Pokemon buy list is updated the day before, while the box and Yu-Gi-Oh! lists are updated same-day, all posted daily on its official X account (@toreca_room). It leans especially into buying new-set Yu-Gi-Oh! boxes — rolling out limited-quantity enhanced offers and welcoming bulk drop-offs — a setup geared to sellers looking to clear out in one go. Buying is limited to items on the buy list, so you can check on X in advance exactly what — and for how much — you can sell before bringing it in. Within walking distance of Akihabara Station's Electric Town exit, it's less a place to play than a drop-off point for turning your Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! singles and boxes into cash. Since the same Senju Building houses other card shops, it's easy to finish selling here and then make the rounds of stores that sell, in the same building or nearby.
