In a black-clad, eight-story building tucked just off Chuo-dori near the AKB48 Theater, this is the flagship of Mandarake—a nationwide reseller of anime, manga and subculture collectibles. Opened in April 2008, all eight floors are retail space. What sets it apart from conventional TCG shops is the range of what it calls cards: alongside current Pokémon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG, MTG and Duel Masters, the card section leans heavily into nostalgia and collection-grade items—1970s-era Calbee Rider cards, Bikkuriman stickers, Carddass, vintage "old back" Pokémon, Kamen Rider Battle Ganbarizing, Dragon Ball Heroes and more. The 1st-floor buyback counter accepts single-card drop-offs, with knowledgeable staff quoting on the spot. It's a destination best suited to Showa- and Heisei-era collectors rather than tournament players.
