Suruga-ya Akihabara Trading Card & Board Game Hall, true to its name, is a dedicated 2nd-floor space for trading cards and board games. It's about a 7-minute walk from JR Akihabara Station, but only 3 minutes from Tokyo Metro Suehirocho Station — Metro riders actually have the shorter walk. The title lineup is among the broadest in Akihabara, spanning around eight games including Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon TCG, and Magic: The Gathering. What really sets it apart from other card shops, though, is that it also stocks board games, tabletop RPGs, and Citadel paints for Warhammer — worth a visit if you're into miniature wargaming or tabletop RPGs alongside TCGs. It also carries TCG supplies like sleeves and playmats, so you can pick up your dueling gear in the same trip. There's even a gacha machine dispensing single cards. In-store stock can be checked on a tablet, and free Wi-Fi is available, so you can confirm whether a card is in stock as you browse.
