Suruga-ya Akihabara Main Building is an 8-story shop on Akihabara's Junk Street, about a 5-minute walk from JR Akihabara Station. It's a general store covering a very wide range — figures, toys, anime goods, tapestries, doujin software — with the 5th and 6th floors dedicated to adult items only, and the 8th floor used as an event space for gravure idol appearances. It also carries trading cards, centered on Pokémon TCG alongside titles like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering, and it buys cards too — but there's no dueling space, so this is more a place to buy and sell than to play. If you're bringing in a large batch to sell (four or more boxes' worth), you're asked to contact the shop ahead of time — a quirk of its larger scale compared with dedicated card shops. Rather than a dedicated card shop, it suits people who want to browse cards alongside figures or doujin goods in the same stop.
